Small Spaces: Add a Modern Twist with this Design

You don’t need a huge space to have a sweet setting for enjoying the garden. This patio (one section-it wraps three sides of the house) is distinguished by a pergola festooned with climbing roses. (This is Rosa 'Veilchenblau' but any rambling climber will do.) This also contains wisteria and is surrounded by tall evergreens and beds of lavender.
