Why It's My Favorite:
I love this plant for so many reasons. The flowers are not only fragrant, they appear to float in the air before the leaves unfurl. In the summer, the wavy, grayish-green leaves have a wonderful texture and contrast beautifully with other shrubs and grasses. Then in the fall the leaves light up like fire!.
