Why It's My Favorite:
This evergreen shrub remains neat and attractive year round with its silvery foliage, even when not showing off its purple flowers in spring. With is compact size it fits also into the smaller garden, and it is drought tolerant, even in dry and hot inland valleys as well as the desert. This makes it a great plant for the water conserving garden.
