Why It's My Favorite:
This plant has so many qualities. Its beautiful, glossy red-burgandy arching leaves provide a great contrast to a variety of other plants. I include it in many gardens I design when I need a small to medium shrub that provides year-round appeal and a vibrant architectural focal point. Low water needs once established and deer resistant! Also great used in pots.
