Why It's My Favorite:
Gilt Edge Silverberry can survive under the deep and dry shade of our native conifers such as Douglas fir and cedar. Its gold-edged leaves light up dark areas of the garden and a silvery sheen appears in spring as an added surprise. It is very low maintenance.
