Favorite Plant:
Snow Queen Oakleaf Hydrangea
Why It's My Favorite:
The Oakleaf Hydrangea can be enjoyed during all seasons. The large, white blooms last almost all summer long. In fall, the large oak-like shaped leaves turn a vibrant red that rivals any burning bush. The exfoliating bark add to winter interest in the garden. To top it all off, it is very adaptable to the clay soils of Southern Illinois and can take sun or shade making it a must-have for the landscape.
