Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light'
Why It's My Favorite:
Miscanthus 'Morning Light' is one of my favorite plants overall. A fine-bladed, sage-green grass with a silvery midrib, it shimmers and shines in fall, but looks elegant and graceful all season. A great, medium-sized (5-6 ft.) ornamental grass, also for clients who prefer a less "rustic" look. The burgundy-brown flower plumes in very late fall are an added bonus.
