Why It's My Favorite:
Shenandoah Switch Grass is a great addition to any perennial border. The green foliage turns a beautiful deep burgundy in the fall and partners well with black eyed susans, hydrangeas, sedums and other perennials that show off from late summer through the fall. It is also native in Massachusetts, an added benefit.
