Why It's My Favorite:
The scent of gardenias remains with me from growing up in Florida. In PA, this one not only survives winter as an evergreen but is completely covered with fragrant flowers and then reblooms. Being a southerner, the August heat is no problem and the round form is easily shaped making it perfect for a small urban garden.
