Favorite Plant:
Agave shawii x attenuata \Blue Flame\
Why It's My Favorite:
A beautiful clumping, hybrid agave. Rosettes of glaucous blue foliage resemble a blue gas flame, with gracefully incurved leaf tips. The edges of the fleshy leaves often appear to glow when back-lit by late afternoon sunlight. This handsome, tough and drought tolerant plant lends a Mediterranean feel to sunny, dry gardens and is well-suited to containers.
